The Countdown to the 2017 Race Season is On !

Happy New Year to all of our WRKC Families.   A new year means a new race season is not far away.    We are busy preparing for the season and have some news items to share with everyone.

WRKC Annual Flea Market and Trade Show – Feb 25th 2017, at the Rockton Fairgrounds.   See the attached flyer for more information and contacts….reserve your table space early !  Registrations will also be accepted from 10am until 1pm.

WRKC Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held prior to the start of the Flea Market 9am at the back room of the hall.

The 2017 Sponsorship package is available and we have filled all of our class sponsors and are actively looking to fill all race days with returning or new Sponsors.  Please contact Todd Alger or Christine Dryden if you have any interested Sponsors.  Please refer to the Schedule tab to see all available race dates.  We will be filling in the sponsor names to the schedule as they are confirmed.

The 2017 printable Race Schedule is now available.

WRKC 2017 Membership Package is also now available in the attached link and also under the Forms tab of the Document section of this site.    Previous kart numbers will be held until Feb 25th (Flea Market) and then assigned on a first received basis.

Other events where the club will be participating are the annual KidsFest at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton on Feb 18-20 and Motorama at the Toronto International Centre March 10th thru 12th.  We are looking for members interested in volunteering to cover some shifts at our booths during these 2 events.  Please contact Todd Alger if you think you can help for KidsKest or Scott Fletcher if you are interested in covering our booth for Motorama

New to Karting ? – We advise all interested new racers to join us at the Flea Market on Feb 25th where you can meet the WRKC executive and many members that can answer all your questions about racing with this club – ages 7 and up.  The Driver training day at the end of April will be the next great opportunity and we again hope to have a limited number of karts and equipment available to try for new potential members….stay tuned to the website for more details.
