Oktoberfest Race Schedule
Friday practice:
- 12:00 am – 1pm – Track Closed – No On Track Activities
- 1:00 pm – Gates open – track set up begins
- 2:00 pm – Sign in Register Here
- 3:00 pm – Controlled practice begins (3:00 pm – 6:45 pm)
Practice Order
- Jr Lite- 265lbs
- Novice (Briggs Cadet) – 245lbs
- Senior and Masters Group 1
- Jr. Heavy – 300lbs
- Cadet – 225lbs
- Senior and Masters Group 2
- All Junior Racers MUST practice with their registered class and conform to class rules
- Seniors/Masters may practice in either Senior Group
Saturday
- 7:00 am – Gates open
- 7:30 am – Registration and pre tech open Register Here
- 8:45 am – Registration Closes
- 9:00 am – Driver’s meeting
- 9:15 am – Practice session begin. (1 practice session per class)
- 10:30 am – Qualifying begins.
- Pre-finals
- Lunch Break
- Final feature races
- Post tech
- Fun races begin shortly after final feature ends.
- Track clean up – EVERYONE please help

- Jr Lite – 265lbs
- Novice (Briggs Cadet) – 245lbs
- Sr Medium – 340lbs
- Kid Kart (5-6 Years old on Race Day)
- Masters – 375lbs
- Jr. Heavy – 300lbs
- Cadet – 225lbs
- Sr Heavy – 375lbs
Pit Notes:
- Parking Map including reserved parking can be found here. All available spots will be marked with a pylon.
- Remember to complete and hand in your pre-tech form and have your engine painted. Engine painting will take place at the post-tech holding area. Pre-tech forms are to be placed in the box in our pre-tech area.
- Absolutely no practice Friday before the WRKC sanctioned practice begins
- It is the responsibility of the driver/mechanic to ensure slide heights are legal before each session.
- Reminder Scooters, Bikes or motorized vehicles may not be used on track or in grid area during WRKC events.
- No tire scrubbing
- No drafting during qualifying
- Starts/Tram Lines – You may not pull out of line or change lanes or leave designated formation (TRAM) lines until you have passed the start/finish line at the start of the race.
- WRKC Cadet class requires the 0.285″ long black slide – Please be aware this is different from the 0.310″ black slide used for KID KART Classes and the Red slide used for Briggs Cadet class – If you are racing Cadet please approach any board member to have your slide checked before entering the track.
- Novice (Briggs Cadet) class weight is 245 lbs.
- If you haven’t signed the annual waiver – please make sure you do. Drivers and crew must complete the mandatory online waiver to be permitted on track, on grid, and at the scale areas. Penalties may apply for non-compliance. Find it here: Speedwaiver
- Track entry is single file starting with P1’s line and followed by P2’s Line – Please speak with any Board Member or the Grid Marshall if you require clarification.
- Kid Kart drivers must be between 5 and 6 years old on Raceday. Proof of age will be required.
