Welcome to the 2023 Racing Season

Welcome to all returning WRKC members and new racers. The start of the season is always an exciting time. For all returning WRKC members we are sure that you all remember how stressful the first race day can be.  Please keep your eyes open for new members that may look like they could use a little help.

Race Day Sponsor

Today’s race is being sponsored by Grindstone Landscaping.  Since the inception of the business in 2003 they have quickly become the choice of many satisfied customers who have transformed their homes into a show place that they can enjoy with their family and friends.

From start to finish they work with their customers to design and build a landscape or pool complete with all the landscaping that will be something they can enjoy for many years and be the envy of all their neighbours.  They look after all aspects of the projects including any structures such as pergolas, gazebos and outdoor kitchens that are part of the project.  They look after hiring and managing all of the sub-trades required to get projects completed on time and take great pride in ensuring that all of the equipment they need to complete the project is the best available.

The quality of their work speaks for itself.  They have grown the business since its inception through word of mouth alone.  All of their new business comes from referrals from past customers.  If you would like to find out how Jay Linde and his team of residential Landscaping and Pool builders can transform your home into the showpiece you have always wanted they can be reached by calling 905.638.1511 or by email at [email protected]

WRKC Spec Fuel for Race Days

The Spec Fuel station is:
Esso, 1129 Hwy #5, Dundas, ON

The fuel has to be 91 Octane “unleaded gasoline”.

Please ensure your spec gas is purchased the morning of the race, not the night before. Make sure you have cleaned out your fuel tank if you are not sure what fuel was in it previously.

NOTE: It is recommended that each team has a designated fuel container specific to the Spec Gas Station to prevent cross-contamination. When filling, it is recommended that the fuel line of the pump is purged into a vehicle or separate waste container before filling the designated fuel container to ensure there is no contamination caused by other grades of fuel. A minimum recommended purge quantity is 2L.

NOTE: WRKC reserves the right to take fuel samples for laboratory analysis.

For New Club Members and Visitors

Announcements are made throughout the day to inform members what class is up next and what class is on pre-grid using the club’s public address system. The announcements can be received on any am/fm radio, the frequency is posted at the container. You should have your kart, and driver ready to go on the track, and at the grid, when your class is on pre-grid.  When you hear the class before yours called to be on pre-grid that is the time to start making your way to the grid area to ensure you don’t miss your session. ENJOY YOUR RACE DAY.

The club is pleased to present a new merchandise store for members to order their very own WRKC merchandise. Be sure to check it out so you can proudly show off your WRKC swag at the track. All purchases from the store will result in a small donation to the club.
