WRKC Driver Training and Open Practice Days

Get Your Karts Ready!

With only days to go before we kick off the 2023 racing season we want to welcome all our new and returning members.  We have an exciting schedule planned that is filled with Saturday morning racing, our annual night race, and finishing the year with the much coveted Oktoberfest Grand Prix.  The club is also excited to be able to bring back the annual BBQ, always one of the highlights of the racing season.  We hope you are as excited as we are to be back at the track with your racing family and friends.

Registration

Race day registrations will be available through MotorsportReg or with cash or cheque at the track.

Note: Driver training will NOT be using the MotorsportReg platform so please bring cash or cheque to the track to register the morning of.

Registration will generally open approximately 7 days prior to the event and close at 8:am on the day of the event.

Annual Waiver

All personnel(Drivers and Crew) must complete the mandatory online waiver to be permitted to be on track, in the grid or at the scale areas -penalties may apply for non-compliance.

Driver Training

Driver training is on Saturday May 6th from 8am-1:30pmand is open to all first and second year drivers. It is a great day to become oriented with the sport of karting and get to know some fellow karters.

We have sent out an email with more information to eligible drivers – if you have not received this email and would like to attend please reach out to us so we can share the information.

Club Practice Day

The clubs official practice day will take place on Sunday May 7th.  The track will be open for practice from 9am to 2pm.
The link for registration at MotorsportReg will go live on Tuesday May 2nd.

Race Order for the 2023 Season

As in past seasons we will rotate the class order on a set cycle each race day.
The race order for Race Day 1 will be:  
Jr. Light, Masters, Jr. Heavy, Novice, Sr. Medium, Cadet

 Club Merchandise Store

The club is pleased to present a new merchandise store for members to order their very own WRKC merchandise. Be sure to check it out so you can proudly show off your WRKC swag at the track. All purchases from the store will result in a small donation to the club.
