Spring Update

Another great turnout for the annual AGM and Swap Meet.  At the AGM we reviewed the financial statement of the club, ensured we had enough member representation to make it an official AGM, discussed the highlights from the 2016 season and the plans in progress for the 2017 season.   We also took various questions from the membership, one of which highlighted a gap in our rule book regarding allowed tire widths.  2-Stroke racers run a wider tire which cannot be used at our events.   We will have the updated bulletin posted soon on the website to ensure new members have the correct tires.
2017 Rule books will be available at the registration bin…sorry for the fine print…there is an online version available on the website under the documents tab.

Track cleanup day – Saturday April 15th

We will be looking for some helping hands to assist with track cleanup day.  Rain date will be April 23rd.  We are assembling a list of jobs to be completed and equipment required to complete these tasks.    Further details will be posted on the website in early April.

2017 Driver Training – Saturday April 29th

Driver training is for ALL first and second year members. We still have a few spots available for non member driver training without equipment for those ‘testing the racing dream’.    We have had generous members step up and offer so share equipment and mentor a new potential member on driver training day.    We are still looking for a few more to assist in Novice and the  Junior divisions at this time.   Please contact Christine Dryden if you are interested in mentoring a new member for the day, it would be GREATLY appreciated and show to our new members what this club is about.   We will be contacting all non-members Pre-registered for Driver training day as well as first year members through email in mid April.
