Oktoberfest and Season Review

Another season has come to a close.    We started off a little wet this morning but the skies cleared and the sun dried the track and we were able to get our 35th Annual Oktoberfest underway a little late but with dry track conditions.    The Oktoberfest program was missing 2 ads, RCM Racing and the Slote Family.   We are very sorry for the oversight and we have included them in the online version of the program.

Congratulations to all of our winners.  Official results have now been posted on Mylaps.  Thanks to Cody from Canadian Karting News to be there to capture all the racing action.   See his official report on his website and there are also details on the bottom of the page on how to reach him for photos and prints.

Thanks to all of our volunteers and numerous people that step up to make these race days happen.   Added thanks to our Oktoberfest Sponsors, Automotive Hoist Inspections and Highway Western Star truck sales and all the people that donated to our goody bag and prize tables!

Banquet tickets are still available, please contact Debbie Collison (519-653-0647) to get your tickets before they are sold out !   The banquet will be at the Flamboro Hills Golf and Country Club at 71 Hwy 52 North in Copetown.   Dinner at 7:00, awards and dance to follow.  Tickets are $35 per person, children 5-11 are $20.

Track cleanup has been scheduled for Saturday, October 29th – 10:00am start.   We have lots of maintenance activities to complete before the snow flies.   Helping hands would be appreciated to get the tasks done quickly.
